About Discovery Academy of Science

Discovery Academy of Science (DAS) provides an engaging and comprehensive K-8 education in a dynamic STEM-focused environment.

Our goal is to maximize each student’s potential through rigorous programs in mathematics, science, engineering, technology, and literacy. With evidence-based instructional methods and leading educational resources such as Go Math, Inspire Science, Reading Wonders, UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute), Accelerated Reader/myON, and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), DAS offers personalized learning experiences for every student.

Established in 2013, DAS has been an A+ rated school by the Florida Department of Education and recognized as a Florida School of Excellence.

Our journey began in Dunedin, serving just 84 students in grades K-3. In 2016, we expanded to a K-8 school, growing to serve 250 students.

Currently, DAS proudly serves over 750 students at our dedicated campus in Clearwater, located at 2433 Nursery Rd.
