Level 1 checks can be used for certain events when volunteers will be accompanied by school staff and teachers. They are done in house at no cost. Completed forms can be turned into alex@discoveryacademy.info. Approved level 1 status lasts for 1 year.
Examples: Great American Teach-In, Classroom Volunteers
Level 2 checks are required for settings where a volunteer may not be accompanied by school staff. Level 2 volunteers must get their fingerprints done at an approved vendor. Approved level 2 status lasts for 5 years.
Examples: Field Trip Chaperoning, Coaching After-School Club, School Events
