Discovery Academy of Science offers a competitive starting salary of $55,279 per annum for both newly hired and experienced teachers. Salaries increase each year in accordance with the published salary scale seen on the link below, and additional adjustments are made to recognize prior experience. Furthermore, many of our faculty members have opportunities to earn supplemental income throughout the school year and during summer months.

“This is my second year working at Discovery Academy of Science. I teach 1st grade and love our school. Our students are excited about science and eager to learn and explore. Unlike most schools, we have an hour block each day specifically for science. We are also lucky to have great technology at our fingertips. Each classroom has a smart board and classroom computers. We also have access to a computer lab and laptops. Being at a school centered around STEM fosters an excitement to learn within our students”.
