Supporting Our Military Families

Discovery Academy of Science is proud to support military-connected students and their families.

We understand that military families may experience frequent moves, school transitions, deployments, and other unique challenges. Our goal is to make those transitions as smooth as possible while ensuring students feel welcomed, supported, and connected from their first day at DAS.

Your Military Family Point of Contact

Our Military Point of Contact serves as the central liaison for military-connected students and families.

  • Counseling and social-emotional support
  • Connecting families with school and community resources

Helping Students Feel at Home

Moving to a new school can be challenging, especially for students who experience frequent relocations.

DAS works to help military-connected students transition into the school community through orientation, peer connections, and ongoing support during their first weeks on campus.
